Nvidia Kepler graphics processor to arrive later half of 2011

Graphics processor designer and maker Nvidia admits of having plans to make a new chip which would be coming in the later half of next year. Jen Hsun Huang, chief executive, Nvidia at an event in San Jose says that the new graphics processor,
Kepler, will be faster than its predecessor and it will be followed by next generation graphics processor Maxwell after two years.
The chief executive says that several engineers are working on the design of the new chip, Kepler, and that it has been progressing well to go to production in 2011.
Nvidia is known for its expertise on making high-performance graphics cards loved by gamers, now faces stiff competition from Intel which plans to launch its microchip (combo chip with both conventional core processor and a graphics processor).
